SITE

Disclosure

The money side, stated plainly: this site runs on the referral links it carries. Full detail below.

The short version

Some pages on this site use a Binance sign-up link and referral code. When you open an account using our referral code or link, Binance shares part of what it collects from your trading fees with us. Your own costs do not go up because you came through us.

The other direction: signing up with a referral code typically gets you a discount on trading fees. We describe it as "up to 20%" — the actual rate is whatever Binance shows at the time and can change with policy.

Something our peers rarely mention

Stock trading itself generates no promotion fee

The affiliate share comes from spot, margin and futures trading fees. Stock trading runs on zero commission plus a platform fee and is outside that pool, and the referral fee discount does not apply to it either.

Put plainly: we earn nothing from you buying stocks. We earn from what you subsequently do on the spot side — buying USDC being the obvious example. Knowing that is how you correctly judge where our incentives point.

Which links carry a referral parameter

Exchange links on this site fall into two categories and are handled differently:

  • Sign-up links carry our referral parameter. They are marked up so search engines can tell they are promotional placements rather than editorial recommendations, and a disclosure sits immediately next to them. Site-wide, these appear only in the substantive account guide, and there are very few of them.
  • Reference links pointing at Binance fee pages or help documentation carry no referral parameter at all. They exist so you can check a primary source. They are not a revenue point.

Beyond that, we do not place uniform sign-up buttons in the navigation, the footer, or on every article.

What this means for the writing

A commercial relationship creates a tilt. Pretending otherwise would be the dishonest part. What we can commit to is specific:

  • Drawbacks stay in. The fee trap on small orders, the T+1 restriction, the extra link in the custody chain — all written up, none removed for hurting conversion.
  • We do not upgrade "may" to "will" to make a link more attractive, or present the uncertain as settled.
  • No paid placement, no link sales, no sponsored posts presented as editorial.
  • No return promises and no "guaranteed" language.

Who we are, formally

KWOTRA is an independently operated information site. We are not Binance, and we are not a licensed broker or investment adviser. We do not handle your money, do not custody your assets, and have no ability to view your account. Brand names and marks appearing here belong to their respective owners.
